The UK property market has had a fantastic run with the market growth going way beyond what was expected. No surprise that it was going to come to an end; the hit was a little harder than expected as it has combined with the global credit crunch and failing consumer confidence.
As always, this stage of the cycle will present opportunities with under value market opportunities easier to find and we are seeing rents starting to move quite well in the London area.
The question as always is how long the downturn / stabilisation will take. We wouldn't be holding our breadth for a quick recovery on this one..
