Off the Plan Property is often used by developers to presell property prior to completion. The process involves you committing to a contract to buy and placing down a deposit.
This can work in your favour if you have a fair market value on your property when signing the contract and the market moves up whilst you await completion. Of course the opposit is true.
Off the Plan catches people out as it often comes with a strong sales pitch, and becasue it is an easy process, it attracts many unseaasoned investors. So like anything, make sure that the investmetn stacks up and do your OWN research!.
